Alvarez Kids Jiu Jitsu Arlington TX NABJJF results 7/22/12 was another outstanding day for the young samurai’s. Team Alvarez Kids Jiu Jitsu Arlington TX really looked forward to defending their title for the second year in a row but knew it would be much harder this time with so many great competitors and teams in the area. To start the morning off with was the GI division for the kids with so many of the Team Alvarez Kids taking gold and even double gold in their divisions. One of the standouts in the GI divisions was Mr. John Gloria fighting up in the Green Belt division and up in age with just a little over a year experience winning a tough match over a great opponent with more than 7 years experience. As the morning continued the North American Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation had a big screen where you could see all the teams and what place everyone was in. Team Alvarez Kids Ji Jitsu Arlington TX started moving up slow in the beginning due to lack of beginner kids but once the advanced kids began to step on the mat Team Alvarez Kids moved up the latter quick. There were so many great matches and by the end of the GI division Team Alvarez Kids Jiu Jitsu Arlington TX had about 72 points with the next closest team having 18 points. Next up was the NO GI division for the kids were Team Alvarez Kids started where they left off in the GI division. Again, there were so many great and exciting matches from Team Alvarez and all the other teams in the area but it was Team Alvarez Kids BJJ Arlington TX that stood a top of the medal podium again with 69 points and the next closest team having 19 points. Some of the double gold medalist were Kate Renner, Justin Rebolloso, Brooke Albauer, Parker Richardson, Ethan Helton, Landon Heath, Lee Crosley, Luke Garcia and Ezekiel Vasquez. Big congratulations to the entire Alvarez Kids BJJ Arlington TX Team for being NABJJF Lone Star Team Champions for the second year in a row and all that went out there and displayed great heart, skill and technique. Team Alvarez Kids Jiu Jitsu always celebrates their 1st place victories at Alley Cats Bowl in Arlington TX and will do so this time Friday August 3rd.
