2014 IBJJF WORLDS BRONZE MEDALIST!

Mr. Daniel Alvarado, 20 years old, fighting in the White Belt Rooster Division, took 3rd place and made his back to the Medal Podium. Mr. Alvarado had super tough match in his first round match but was able to grind out the victory. Mr. Alvarado then came up short in the Semi Finals to the eventual Champion to take his place as one of the best in the World. Mr. Alvarado just recently took 1st place at the 2014 IBJJF Pan Ams at White Belt Rooster in Irvine, CA this past March. Congrats to Mr. Alvarado on all his hard work and success.

Team Alvarez BJJ also had Kristina Parker, Natalia Shepler, Jordan Shepler, Jorge Vasquez, Cooper Cardinale and Vin Abadie that all went out and fought hard but came up short and didn’t make it to the Medal Podium. Some of them did win 1 or 2 matches before they went out. With some brackets having more competitors than others, some Team Alvarez competitors had to win a few more to place or win.

Kristina Parker won her 1st match by Bow N Arrow before she came up short in the next round. Check out her 1st match.

Jorge Vasquez won his first 2 matches before he came up short in the Quarter Finals. Check out one of his matches.

Cooper Cardinale won 2 fights before he came up short in the Quarter Finals as well. Check out one of his matches.

Jordan Shepler won his 1st match by X Choke from the Mount before he came up short in the next round. Check out his submission victory.

Again, even though Team Alvarez BJJ had some that did not place, those competitors that went down before the Medal Rounds took some down themselves before they went out. The entire Team, especially Professor Alvarez, is proud of all their hard work and effort that was put in, even if they fell short of their goal. Everyone knows that Losing is apart of Competition and sometimes Losing can bring the Best out in us. Team Alvarez is made up of Champions. Expect to see those who came up short of their goals, Better and Stronger than ever before!

Congrats again to the entire T.E.A.M (Together Everyone Achieves More) Alvarez BJJ Army for another great showing. Once again, the Alvarez BJJ academy in Arlington TX continues to Consistently produce World Class athletes that win at the Highest Level time and time again.
